Vaping is rough on the lungs, posing a danger to the 11% of Gen Z who use e-cigarettes. This effort wins by understanding how highly this demographic values video content, especially when served up on YouTube. It leveraged a critical insight: While this group prizes mental health and taking care of themselves emotionally, they were largely unaware that vaping increases stress. Through advanced targeting and optimization, Truth Initiative showed extreme brand lift across the Gen Z audience on highly influential content across YouTube that resonates deeply with the audience's interests and video consumption.
